Pippin Pre-School

Pippin Pre-School is currently experiencing high demand on nursery places and therefore we have had to amend our Admissions Policy which can be viewed here: 4.1 Admissions

We apply the following criteria (in the rank order shown) to decide the order in which places will be allocated when there are more requests from parents/carers than the number of places available:

  • Three year old children living in the catchment area
  • Children living in the catchment area with siblings at Pippin
  • All ‘looked after children’ (i.e. children who are accommodated by the local authority or who are the subject of a full care order or interim care order)
  • Very exceptional medical grounds
  • Whether a child is attending another pre-school
  • Other children living in the catchment area
  • Any other children

All 3 and 4 year olds will receive the necessary forms required for Pippin to apply for their funding once they are enrolled at the pre-school. If you feel you maybe eligible for 2 year old funding please contact the Stotfold and District Children’s Centre on 01462-730623.

In line with the local lower schools we operate a yearly intake of children every September. Once your child reaches 12 months of age please register your interest with us. Please complete and return an Expression of Interest form, which can be obtained from our office. There is a £10 non-refundable registration fee that is required when submitting your form. Should your child already be receiving 2 year old funding at the point of registering your interest, the £10 registration will be waived on presentation of your eligibility letter.
