‘Children Learning Through Play’
Just a couple of belated thank yous go to Tilly’s nanny for making some wonderful cup cakes for our stall at the Steam Fair and Mill weekend back in May and also to P C L Landscapes and Elegantly Seated for their kind donation for our bottle boutique stall at the Summer Fete.
The last day of term was a great day for children and staff who had a wonderful time at the Rainbow party. The children played games, had glitter tattoos and decorated buns which they ate at their tea party. We also celebrated Rose’s 30 years service at Pippin and Rose would like to thank everyone who called in to see us that day. It was lovely to see children and their parents/carers who came through Pippin’s doors all those years ago. Thank you to all the committee members and parents/carers who helped on the day.
We also say goodbye and good luck to all the children who are moving up to ‘big school’ in September! We will miss you.
Our preparations are now well under way for our move to new premises onto the new Roecroft Lower School site. We are all looking forward to the move.
Quiz Night
The Committee are pleased to announce that we will be holding our annual quiz night on 15th October. Last year was a huge success and we hope many of you will join us again this year for another great evening. More details of how to enter your team etc will be in next months article.
If you would like to know more about our pre-school, please have a look at our website, give us a call, write us an email or better still come and meet us. We have open mornings every Monday, so please feel free to come along, meet Rose and her staff and see the children enjoying themselves. No need to book, just come along we would love to hear from you.
We return to Pippin on Tuesday 6th September when we will be welcoming lots of new children to Pippin.
Thank you for your interest in our pre-school. We look forward to sharing more of our news with you again next month. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the summer holidays!
