‘Children Learning Through Play’
The Pippin Committee wanted to thank everyone who came along and supported our Pudding Evening which was held on 25th March. The evening was a great success and there were some delicious puddings to taste so thank you to those who donated one. Thank you also to The Fox and Duck and The Chequers who provided us with puddings and to those who donated raffle prizes including Dawn from Slimming World. We will let you know how much money we raised in next months issue, which of course goes towards toys and equipment for the children at Pippin.
The children had a great time taking part on the Easter Egg Hunt which was held on Thursday 1st April. The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance and presented all the children with an Easter egg – thank you Easter Bunny!
Good luck also to the children who are moving up to ‘big school’ after Easter. We will miss you all but are sure you will have a wonderful time at your new school.
BREAKING NEWS!
With effect from Tuesday 20th April Pippin are pleased to announce the launch of their TOTAL WRAP AROUND CARE.
This is great news Pippin can now offer care for your children from 7:45 am through till 6:00 pm 5 days a week!
The session times are as follows:
Monday to Friday
Breakfast Club, 7:45 – 9:00 am
Morning Session, 9:00 – 12:00
Lunch Club, 12:00- 1:00
Afternoon session, 1:00 – 3:30
After School Club, 3.30 – 6:00
The afternoon and after schools sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday ONLY will be provided at St Mary’s Church Hall (which is next to the Roecroft Centre). All other sessions will take place at the Roecroft Centre as normal. We are very pleased with our new facility at St Mary’s Church Hall and are very excited to be able to offer total wrap around care from Monday to Friday. From the Summer term the after school sessions will have a theme and these will include: arts and crafts, cooking, nature and gardening and science.
Look out also for our special offers on all after school sessions. In April after school sessions will be £5 and if you book 2 sessions you get 1 FREE.

The Pippin Committee are always looking for new members so if you have a child at Pippin and can spare a little time each month to attend our meeting and help out with fundraising activities we would love to hear from you.

We have open mornings every Monday, so please feel free to come along, meet Rose and her staff and see the children enjoying themselves. No need to book, just come along we would love to hear from you.
