Stotfold News October 2009 Issue

‘Children Learning Through Play’
This term our show and tell topic is all about our families and children will have the opportunity to bring in photos of themselves growing up, their parents, siblings and their grandparents. Later in the term we will be talking about other members of our family, pets and favourite books and toys.
Thank you to everyone who kindly brought in their Tesco and Sainsbury vouchers. We have placed our order for some new equipment and look forward to its delivery shortly.
Pippin is now running sessions from 3.30 till 6.00pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There are also places still available on our breakfast club and lunch club and also on our afternoon sessions Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1.00 – 3.30pm. Please contact Rose Sharp on the above telephone number, if you are interested in registering your child for any of these sessions.
Superheroes and Princesses Day – Friday 23rd October
Later this month we will be holding a ‘Superheroes and Princesses Day’ when all the children will get the opportunity to dress up for their session at Pippin. We are hoping to raise in excess of £100 and all the proceeds raised will be donated to the Addenbrooke’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. If you would like to make a donation, just pop into Pippin or you can email us at the address above.
