‘Children Learning Through Play’
Summer term is here and the Pippin children are particularly enjoying their outdoor activities.
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt was a big success! With the sun on their backs, the children followed the Easter Bunny trail and were helped out by picture clues along the way. Once they had collected all the clues the children met the very friendly Easter Bunny who presented them with a certificate and a chocolate egg.
Pippin would like to thank Stephens Estate Agents for kindly donating towards the children’s Easter Eggs.
Our 2nd Parents evening was held in March and was once again a huge success. Parents spoke with their child’s key worker to discuss how well their little angels were getting on! Due to the popularity of these evenings, they are now due to be held every 6 months.
We are looking forward to taking part in the annual Stotfold Mill Steam & Country Show on the 9th/10th May. Please come and support us and don’t forget to bring your teddy bear. The first 50 lucky visitors accompanied by their bear will receive a treat! You can also win our Pippin bear by choosing his name. Enter into our colour a bear competition and have your artwork displayed on our wall of fame. The best entry from each age group will win a prize!
The introduction of our breakfast, lunch and afternoon sessions have proven to be very popular. Breakfast club runs from 7:45am- 9am where children can be provided with a selection of well-known cereals, toast and drink. Lunch club runs from 12pm-1pm where children bring their own packed lunch. Afternoon sessions run from 1pm-3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. As stated in the last issue we will be providing a ‘Walking Bus’ to and from the schools. If you would like to take advantage of the above sessions then please contact us to avoid disappointment.
Last but not least we’d like to wish our Pippin Pre-School leader, Rose Sharp a very Happy Birthday on the 29th May, 21 again eh Rose??!!
If you would like to know more about our pre-school please have a look at our website, give us a call, write us an email or better still come and meet us. We have open mornings every Monday, so please feel free to come along, meet Rose and her staff and see the children enjoying themselves. No need to book, just come along we would love to hear from you and tell you more about a little Pippin family.
Thank you for your interest in our pre-school. We look forward to sharing more of our news with you again next month.
