‘Children Learning Through Play’

First of all, these articles for the Stotfold News have a lead time of nearly a month, therefore, we are currently experiencing huge amounts of snow, which the children have enjoyed and, if I am completely honest, a great deal of the adults did too!

I would like to thank the Pippin staff for opening Pippin EVERY DAY during this wintry weather. Your dedication and commitment to Pippin is commendable and, most definitely, has not gone unnoticed by us all. What a fantastic team my committee and I have the honour of supporting – well done and thank you to you all!

BREAKFAST & LUNCH CLUB & 3 AFTERNOON SESSIONS COMMENCING AFTER EASTER

We are pleased to announce that after Easter we will be opening, our much requested, breakfast and lunchtime clubs. We will also be offering 3 afternoon sessions each week. Spaces are limited therefore, in the first instance, please contact Rose Sharp, our pre-school Manager, on the above numbers. Details will also be on our website and in our newsletter, The Pippin Post.

We are already planning and looking forward to our PARENTS’ EVENING (25 March). We have a number of new children joining us this term and we look forward to chatting with you about how they have settled in and are progressing. Potential new Pippin members are also welcome to come along and see some of the things we do with the children at Pippin and chat to the members of the parent-run committee who donate their time to support the pre-school.

I cannot believe that I am writing about what we will be doing in April, which means it is Easter soon and time for Pippin to hold their annual EASTER EGG TRAIL, which, traditionally, includes a visit from a very friendly, fluffy bunny.

That is all from me for this month, but if you would like to know more about our pre-school please have a look at our website, give us a call, write us an email or better still come and meet us. We have open mornings every Monday, so please feel free to visit, meet Rose and her staff and see the children enjoying themselves. No need to book, just come along we would love to hear from you and tell you more about our little Pippin family.

Thank you for your interest in our pre-school and we look forward to sharing more of our news with you again next month.
