ADMISSIONS
Pippin Pre-School operates a yearly intake of children in September. Once your child has reached 12 months of age you are encouraged to discuss your requirements with our Admissions Officer Katie Lawrence who can advise you about our availability and you will be asked to add your child’s name to our Expression of Interest list. We do have a very high demand on pre-school places however we will always do our best to accommodate your needs if we can.

OFSTED REPORT
We were delighted to receive an OUTSTANDING rating from Ofsted when they visited us during the summer of 2013, complimenting our staff’s knowledge of Early Years education, communication with children and parents, and dedication towards teaching the children the skills they require for starting school.

You can view the report by clicking on the link below. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact Sharon Goddon, Pippin Pre-School’s leader, using the details listed on the Contact Us page.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT PIPPIN PRE-SCHOOL
Pippin is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and is registered with Ofsted, who monitors and inspects us. We have contact with the Bedfordshire Early Years Development and Child Care Partnership and the local health visitor, who visits the pre-school group regularly. Also we liaise with the three lower-schools in Stotfold, Roecroft Lower School, St Mary’s Academy and Fairfield Park Lower School, as our children move on to each of these schools when they leave us.

We are a non-profit making registered charity and aim to set our fees as low as possible, whilst covering our running costs. In addition, we are able to offer free nursery funding to all 3 and 4 year olds, plus those 2 year olds who qualify. In order to purchase new equipment, we rely on fund-raising efforts throughout the year, organised by the Pippin Committee. We do hope that parents will give a little of their time to help us at these events. Please see the relevant pages on our website for more information.
